Seaport-e Prime Contract Details

Alytic is a Seaport-e Prime Contract Holder.

Alytic has been awarded with a Seaport-e Prime Contract by the U.S. Navy. Seaport Enhanced (Seaport-e) made electronic procurement of Engineering, Technical and Programmatic support services at NAVSEA a reality. The Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) decided to leverage the successes and efficiencies of the SeaPort-e business model by designating SeaPort-e the vehicle of choice for future Engineering, Financial, and Program Management contractor support services. This decision emphasizes the Navy Virtual SYSCOM’s focus on implementing cost-effective and integrated business practices to better support our Navy. Alytic invites you to visit the Seaport-e Home Page  for more information on SeaPort-e’s history and the processes around performance based services contracting for both buyer and seller.

Quality Assurance

Alytic uses several tools and techniques to conduct quality assurance. The most common constructs used in this regard include

  • Retrospects – periodic long timeframe assessments of past performance and experiences, specifically launched at the initiation of planning of new tasking.
  • Action Reviews – short-term assessments of performance and outcomes from the most recent element of a tasking effort, typically a meeting or deliverable development effort.
  • Peer Assists – a querying of past and present employees, customers, and community of practice members for insights into the nature and characteristics of specific elements of a new tasking.

By rigorous application of these constructs during day-to-day operations, a rich knowledge base of usable experience and wisdom is available to Alytic staff at a moments notice, such that they can, in most cases, address quality issues before they materialize.
